Tanah Lot is a 16th century Hindu temple built on a lava rock 200 meters offshore and there is no better to see Tanah Lot than at sunset. On the way to the temple, located in Tabanan, north of Kuta, you can visit the Royal temple of Mengwi before stopping to see the sacred home of some of Bali’s monkeys at Alas Kedaton.
